God Activates Favor

Proverbs 16:7 TPT
When the Lord is pleased with your decisions, He activates grace to turn enemies into friends.

God needs you to influence and impact the earth, so He needs you to increase in favor.

That’s what the favor of God is for.

While you may never be famous or visible, you can still influence and impact individuals in your sphere with the favor of God operating in your life.

The purpose of favor is to make an impact on someone's life that cannot be erased.

Favor encompasses much more than getting free things and good parking spots.

The grace of God cannot be earned or deserved. God’s grace is His unmerited favor. You can easily swap out the word grace for the word favor. When you move in the direction the Lord has called you to, you will activate God’s favor in your decisions and endeavors.

Here is an example of someone activating the favor of God. This example involves one of my daughters.

My oldest daughter, Ziyanah-Grace, enjoys school. She loves to read, study, take tests, work with classmates, assist teachers and make good grades. Schoolwork seems to come very naturally easy for her.

She came to me during her freshman year of high school and said she wanted to talk about universities. The colleges that she wanted to attend were expensive, to say the least. I told her that if she made straight A’s throughout high school, these schools would pay her to attend them.

Ziyanah-Grace proceeded to get straight A’s throughout high school. She applied to 13 schools and was accepted into each one of them. One of the schools was offering a scholarship but you had to write an essay, and if the essay was good enough, they would consider her for the scholarship.

She was one of over 1,000 people who also applied for the scholarship by writing the essay. She did the tedious work of writing the essay. The guidelines were 250-650 words. Her essay was 471 words. She submitted the essay and was chosen for a zoom interview with a few different decision-makers.

She was nervous about this interview since she had never been a part of a zoom call before. She put her trust in God, relaxed, and gave the interview her best.

A few weeks later, she found out that she was one of five people chosen to receive a full academic scholarship. And part of her scholarship includes a semester to study abroad.

Shout, “I am favored!”

Do you have time for one more example?

Recently, Ziyanah told us that she wanted to try out for the cheerleading team at her college. She has never cheered in her life. I thought that she would inevitably get denied.

We received a call from her that she made the cheerleading team!

That’s the favor of God!

When you hear from God, receive His vision, and make steps toward the pictured goal, God will put His favor on your life to accomplish His plan and purposes!
